St Clair’s Workshop – Lipan

Artcore delivered Lipan art activitiesat St Clair’s school, a special needs school based in Derby. We have been working with them for the last 3 years delivering activities involving plaster, Sand Casting and Lipan, some of which are traditional Indian crafts. Artcore was at Peartree library on Saturday 14th December, delivering the final session for 2013 project where they set up lantern making workshop. Members of the community took part in it and made impressive Lanterns. After the workshop all the artwork was displayed and illuminated the surrounding space.
As part of The Web of Water project we had an event on Saturday 7th December, 11am until 1pm at Artcore. There were talks by the members of the Derby and Sandiacre Canal Trust and Society, which was followed by a creative watercolor activity for the community members. A big Thank you to the Derby
