As a part of the Innocence and Expression Programme, more sessions are planned for the next upcoming few months (Jan-Mar 2015)

This term of the project ‘Innocence and Expression’ is drawing to its conclusion as the participants work on skylines amounts toward a proposal for a skyline feature to be displayed in a public place.

Throughout the project, participating children have been investigating the skyline of Derby and experimenting with various techniques and angles in which buildings can be sketched from. Models of buildings were also created from clay to explore the effects of shapes and sizes of buildings when creating a diverse skyline.

Participants still continue their studies on skylines, analyzing in depth the different angles buildings can be sketched from and the different techniques used on individual buildings to create a diverse skyline effect.

Participants of the innocence and expression programme continued their work with skylines, creating a physical skyline using buildings they  have modeled from clay.

The first session of innocence and expression in the new year went very well.

All the children were really excited, they learned new skills they had never practiced before and they had lots of fun.
