Artcore presents BLOODY BOATS by Akshata Naik @ Artcore Gallery, 26th January 2016, 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

We invite all to be a part of the inauguration and solo exhibition of artist Akshata Naik from India who unveils her new series of work through “Bloody Boats”. Through her work, the artist portrays the migration issues of our time leading to humanitarian crisis. She connects with the desperate scenes at the border and features the perspectives of devastating war of land, water and the drowning human lives.

During the exhibition, the artist also dazzles us with her vision taking us through the journey presenting a room full of paper boats to picture the fragility of human life and the colour “red” to symbolise the bloody madness of the world.
