Art in the Park is a free programme of creative sessions in parks in the Arboretum and Normanton area. The project is supported by the Derby City Council, Community First fund and Derby Feste.
The Normanton Park event on 26th August marks the celebrations in the park as a part of the Art in the Park event. The Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture Cllr. Alison Martin and Cllr. Hardyal Dhindsa Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner are amongst the Chief Guest at the event.
The project Aims to provide fun and Learn activities involving children and young people during the summer Holidays. It is connecting local community through art interventions generating creative ideas using different mediums and techniques.
Come and find out about Artcore’s current and upcoming activities that benefits the local community. It also promotes Derby Feste 2014, a festival which Derby is proud to host alongside creating awareness about Water and its critical importance to life through the Web of Water Project.
